With its summer exhibition – Copenhagen In Common – the Danish Architecture Center wants to celebrate Copenhagen being UNESCO’s World Capital of Architecture from 2023 and put an emphasis on what makes the Danish capital so unique with regards to urban planning, architecture, neighborhoods and communities, outdoor spaces and more.
We have been asked to draw iconic buildings of Copenhagen. Those will be integrated to a digital model from the city experienced from the ‘Fingerplan’s inception to today with highlights such as the development of sub-urban areas, the transformation of the inner harbour from an industrial port to a recreative and residential stretch, the sanitation programs carried out from the 80’s and more.
